Big Game

Our whitetail wall at Federwild is a testament to the quality and beauty of the deer at Federwild and South Georgia.  The first deer rut begins around Thanksgiving and runs until December 10 or so, depending on the weather.  The second rut begins after Christmas and runs into early January.  Available stands include ladders, towers, and fully enclosed shooting houses with carpet and heaters.

Whitetail Deer Hunts

• NOT AVAILABLE FOR THE 2025-2026 SEASON

• 4 hunters minimum, 2 days minimum

• archery season

• Primitive Weapons Season

• Rifle / Firearms Season

• Limit - one buck, 8 points or better outside its ears, and one doe

• Federwild staff will field dress, quarter your deer, and pack it on ice in your cooler

• There will be a $500.00 penalty for killing yearlings and small bucks

Federwild fair chase deer hunting has 27 deer stands available.  The variety of cover, fields, woods, and vistas provide the hunter with many options to choose from.  Mature bucks weigh up to 250 lbs and have rack scores up to 175.

• Two full day hunts with lunch, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres - $950.00

• a half day hunt can be added to the upland bird or waterfowl package for an additional - $350.00

• No trophy fees charged
